Years ago, the use of recycled, alternative print head cartridges was primarily a matter of cost benefits, but nowadays there is also a growing awareness of the finite resources of our planet. We are aware of our responsibility and, in addition to recycling to conserve resources, we focus on a good environmental balance. To this end, our ink is produced in Germany and is already with the customer after short transport routes. We also use sustainable packaging.

Return of empties

The basis for the production of professionally reused cartridges are empty cartridges. Many of our customers collect them in our practical grid cartons. These protect the sensitive electronics and ensure the highest possible recycling rate. In this way, we can also guarantee high availability.

High quality cartridges

Every day we convince customers of the high quality of our recycled cartridges. Almost everyone has had bad experiences with alternative cartridges, mostly in private use. We dispel this scepticism about alternative cartridges by demonstrating our professional approach and manufacturing steps. Which cartridges can be reused?

In principle, almost all printhead cartridges can be reused. Cartridges with solvent inks must be recycled very soon, otherwise the print nozzles will dry out considerably. For this reason, the cartridges should be stored and transported sealed with a clip after use. We can reuse up to 90% of cartridges with food-grade ink or other water-based ink. The remaining cartridges must be sorted out because of the thermal stress on the print head during the printing process, which leads to gradual wear. This is the only way to ensure impeccable printing at the customer's site.

Conscious transport

We buy our raw materials and merchandise mainly in Germany and the EU - only 10% are imported from the USA and CN. In this way, we ensure short transport routes and reduce the energy required to transport the products to you. It may only be a supposedly small aspect, but we have made it our task to meticulously analyze the environmental balance of our products and are constantly working on optimization.

Social and ecological commitment

We see it as one of our corporate duties to do good locally. There is nothing more beautiful and important at the same time than helping the weak and needy and protecting our nature. Ever since CM printing GmbH was founded, we have refrained from giving Christmas presents, for example, and instead made an appropriate donation to the Balthasar children's and youth hospice. In addition, we are involved locally in the reforestation of forests and support such local actions financially.
